What a great turnout on Saturday 23rd May to support Sunny News. A large crowd of SW18 residents, community figures and local MP Justine Greening turned out to show their support for Sunny News which is under threat of closure.
As you know, Sunny News, on the corner of Wimbledon Park Road and Standen Road, is in danger of forced closure as the freeholder wants to change the building from commercial to residential use. The shop is irreplaceable to local people, as are Sunny and Jamie, who give so much time and support to the local community.
We’re excited to say that the Summer Street Party will be returning this year on Sunday 7th June, in Pulborough Road.
